Christians in Uganda identify themselves as Roman Catholics, Anglicans, Pentecostals, Seventh day Adventists or Orthodox. About 14% of Ugandans identify with Islam while 1% have stuck to the indigenous religions. Religion has been a great uniting factor among the people of Uganda. That said, a significant number of Uganda are thought to be secretly practicing their indigenous religions.
