Kibale National Park is located in western Uganda, approximately 35 kilometres south of Fort Portal town. The most common way to reach the park is by road, either through private transport or hired taxis from nearby towns. From Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, it's about a 5 to 6-hour drive to reach the park. Alternatively, domestic flights to nearby airstrips such as Kasese can be arranged, followed by a shorter road transfer to the park.
