Kenyan Visa
Saturdays and Sundays Excluded
For all inbound travelers to Kenya who require a Visa the “Visa on arrival” facility is no longer available and one is expected to obtain an eVisa before boarding their flight to Kenya.
Children under 16 years of age who are accompanied by a parent or guardian are exempt from visa application. The Parent or Guardian in their eVisa application should however include the minor’s details as well. Where one would like the reassurance of having an official travel document for children under 16, you can apply for the eVisa and once the system detects the applicant is under 16 an E-Pass (which resembles the eVisa) will be issued free of charge.
Applications
To ensure timely processing and delivery, it is necessary to set the following timelines for eVisa applications:
24 – 48 hrs′
Single Visa Applications
72 hrs′
Large Group Applications

Need Help?
Should you find the official eVisa application too challenging or simply do not wish to complete the application yourself, KATO is in a position to make the application on your behalf. This can either be a completely fresh application or help you to conclude an application you had already commenced but encountered difficulties with.
Please note that:
- Use of this service does not guarantee the issuance of a Visa as the final decision rests with the immigration authorities.
- Visa application fees are NON-REFUNDABLE whether the visa is issued or not.
