Established in 1934, it is Rwanda's oldest national park and showcases a variety of ecosystems, including savannah, wetlands, lakes, and woodlands. Managed by the Rwanda Development Board in partnership with African Parks, the park is renowned for its rich biodiversity, including the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros.
Visitors can explore the park through guided game drives, boat safaris on Lake Ihema, nature walks, and birdwatching excursions, offering a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in Rwanda's natural beauty and wildlife.Top of Form
