Day Itinerary

This day may start with a hot air balloon safari, an optional activity, available on pre-arrangement, and at an extra cost.

You’ll spend the day exploring the vast plains, in search of its wildlife, a haven for the big cats. Masai Mara National Reserve sightings for today include cheetahs, elephants, buffalos, and zebras which dominate the scene while antelopes, warthogs, and wildebeests form formidable numbers. Masai Mara has the highest concentration of wildlife . You will have your picnic lunch and continue to venture through the plains looking out for real close wildlife encounters. Tracing the various animals, you find yourself at the Mara River which has crocodiles and hippos; this is the wildebeest crossing point from the neighboring Serengeti.

An optional local Masai Village visit can be arranged at the end of the day at an extra cost.

Nakuru

Nakuru is a fascinating city on the shores of western Kenya’s Lake Nakuru. The capital of Nakuru County located in the Great Rift Valley, about ten kilometres from the massive Menengai Crater. A hiking trail leads up to the rim of this ancient caldera, offering bird’s eye views over the lake and surrounds, and then plunges 400 metres down to the floor below, where visitors can walk among ancient forests. Lake Nakuru National Park, surrounding Nakuru, is home to exceptional birdlife, as well as over 50 varieties of mammals including lion, leopard, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, rhino, antelope and various primates. History and culture enthusiasts should make sure to visit the incredible Hyrax Hill prehistoric site.

Day Itinerary

Begin your day with early breakfast then the Kenya safari adventure continues on to Lake Nakuru, one of the most beautiful parks in Africa, widely known as a bird paradise and a Rhino sanctuary. You’ll arrive in the evening, for a chance to have a short game drive in the park. This alkaline lake is host to millions of pink flamingos that cover the lake’s shorelines. The Lake ecosystem is also a habitat for over 400 species of birds. The park has cliff tops that serve as viewpoints for seeing wildlife. This is one of the few places in Kenya where you can see both the white and black rhinos in the same place, as this park is also a rhino sanctuary.

Naivasha

Located in the beautiful Kenya Rift Valley basin, Naivasha is a compact market town northwest of Nairobi, best known as a stopping point for spellbinding Lake Naivasha. Aspiring wildlife photographers and nature lovers will marvel at Lake Naivasha and its abundance of wondrous wildlife. Here visitors can spot wallowing hippo pods, clouds of vibrant birdlife, zebra and various other game. The nearby Lake Oloiden and Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary are great spots for those passionate about wild wonders. Shopping in the bustling town ensures unique souvenirs for mementoes as well as restaurants offering delicious local dishes with every taste in mind. Accommodations ranging from lodges to bed and breakfasts provide great conveniences for travellers looking to explore the area.

Day Itinerary

Morning breakfast, check out and exit the park and drive to Lake Naivasha, a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus. The lake draws a great range of game to these shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, buffalos wallow in the swamps and Colobus monkeys call from the treetops while the lake’s large hippo populations sleep the day out in the shallows. after proceed to hells gate national park then an afternoon boat safari at the Lake. Later, you will proceed for a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island.

Overnight: Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort

Naivasha is a Masai name given to the area, denoting the characteristics of the lake.

21 cottages are built in a crescent shape, and each has four rooms, totaling 80 standard rooms and Two suites. Two of these rooms are suitable for the physically challenged. Six of the 21 cottages have interconnecting rooms on the ground floor.

Rock gardens feature vibrantly coloured flowers, which give a beautiful contrast to the greenery of the wellmanicured lawns. Monkeys play on the lawns and different species of birds chip in the trees. Pathways wind between the open lawns and frangipanis, with aloes and proteas growing in abundance. The acacia trees are plentiful in this area and provide welcome shade. The stone exterior walls of the cottages are carried into the rooms. Ground-floor rooms have two queen-size beds and a sunken living room at the front, which opens out on to the beautifully manicured lawns.

Kimana

Located in the Loitokitok District of Kenya’s Rift Valley Province, close to the Kenyan border, Kimana is a beautiful, remote town boasting spectacular natural landscapes, an array of churches, and several enthralling wildlife parks. Nature and animal enthusiasts will delight in going on safaris at reserves such as the Kimana Sanctuary, where they can see mesmerising open plains, yellow fever trees, Mount Kilimanjaro in the south and the Chyulu Hills in the north. Visitors will have the chance to spot elephants, zebra, gazelle, eland, warthogs, vervet monkeys and kingfishers.

Day Itinerary

You will depart early in the morning after breakfast towards Amboseli National Park with lunch en route. Your guide will take you on an evening game drive. Amboseli is synonymous with two particular things – majestic herds of elephants and glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular parks in Kenya. One of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. On a clear evening, you can catch a view of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro.

Overnight: Angama Amboseli

Angama Amboseli is an intimate lodge in the heart of the 5,700-acre private Kimana Sanctuary and the shadows of Mount Kilimanjaro. Day Itinerary

After breakfast, you will head to the park for your full-day game viewing. Your Kenya adventure safari today consists of panoramic views, large herds of elephants walking slowly on the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, buffalos bathing in the swampy areas, giraffes feeding on the treetops, zebras, warthogs, lions, and more wildlife. You will have your picnic lunch under a tree shade and continue scouring this semi-arid park, for more of its wildlife. In the evening, when the clouds open, the snow-capped highest peak of Mount Kilimanjaro is more visible and gives a fairytale view as you marvel at the elephants roaming at the foot of the Mountain.

Amboseli National Park is one of the best places in Africa for getting up close to free-ranging elephants.

Day Itinerary

At the break of dawn have a leisurely breakfast check out for a return road transfer to Nairobi. You will have an onward drop-off transfer to the Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your flight home or drop off at your overnight hotel.
