Located in the southern reaches of Kenya, the Amboseli National Park is renowned for its excellent variety of wildlife such as Maasai giraffe, elephant, lion and cheetah and not surprisingly it is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The landscape of Amboseli is dominated by the majestic snowcap of Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as open plains, acacia woodland, swamps and the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok. The birding is excellent, especially closer to the lakes and swamps. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to large herds of elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and soak up spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
Pick up from either Airport or at your hotel in Nairobi and depart for a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, set the the foot of the magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli National Park has a prolific population of elephants. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch.
Have your Lunch then freshen up before proceeding to afternoon game drive. Mount Kilimanjaro offers scenic backgrounds for photography Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, and Buffalo can be seen at the swamp area
Overnight: Ol Tukai Lodge
Ol Tukai Lodge is one of the best spots in the world to watch elephants with the backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Writers have described Ol Tukai and the surrounding Amboseli National Park as 'a home for the gods’. A place of rugged beauty, abundant water, lush green grass and forest, set like an oasis in the surrounding savannah shrubland. To crown it all, this is where you get one of the world's most awe-inspiring sights – dawn breaks and the sunsets over the 19,000-foot snow-capped dome of Africa’s highest mountain!

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit, we set off for another stimulating game drive.
Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from Giraffes to
Baboons. (Optional visit to a Masai village is planned after breakfast)
Maasai warriors are famously known as the proud nomadic tribe whose legendary prowess in battle and singlehanded acts of bravery in fights with the wild animals are known across the world. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience.
Midday finds us at our lodge for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another extensive game drive.

Situated at the foot of the Taita Hills, bordering Tsavo West National Park, Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is a privately owned wildlife sanctuary in Kenya. It features beautiful wild scenery, luxury lodges, unique flora, abundant fauna and fascinating culture. Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary provides visitors with a wonderful opportunity to soak up the magnificent landscape featuring endless grass plains, woodland habitats and panoramic views of the picturesque Taita Hills. The sanctuary offers visitors a fantastic selection of exciting wilderness activities such as wild and secluded eco-safaris, day trips to local authentic villages, and interesting guided nature walks. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife including: African elephant, leopard, lion, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, hartebeest, impala, waterbuck, cape buffalo as well as over 300 species of birds.
Depart to Taita Hills Game Sanctuary arriving at Saltlick Safari Lodge in time for lunch After lunch, game drive in the sanctuary until sunset, and chances are good to see lions as well.
Dinner and overnight at Salt Lick Lodge. Salt Lick Lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure.
The lodge sits on stilts over a series of water holes. The two-storey towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs, are connected by open-air-bridges, creating an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind - you can see animals in all directions because it offers spectacular open views.
Overnight: Salt Lick Safari Lodge
Located in the heart of the private Taita Hills Sanctuary, bordering Tsavo West National Park in south-eastern Kenya,
Salt Lick Safari Lodge is a luxurious safari escape overlooking a waterhole and the vast Tsavo plains. Separating northern and southern Kenya, Tsavo East National Park features bushy grasslands, open plains dotted with baobabs alternating with semi-arid acacia scrub and lush woodlands. The arid environment with its unique red earth creates spectacular photo opportunities. This park is home to some of the largest elephant and buffalo herds in Kenya. Tsavo East boasts rich biodiversity and is said to be one of the last remaining wildernesses. Visitors can enjoy many wonderful attractions including: Galana River and Lugard’s Falls; the magnificent Yatta Plateau; and Mudanda Rock, a natural viewpoint that overlooks a much visited and photographed drinking hole. The south of the park is busier, while north of Galana is a remarkably quiet wilderness where visitors can enjoy this unspoilt beauty.
After breakfast proceed to Tsavo East ,after clearance at the gate, drive into this vast national park and start your first game viewing in search for the big five. Tsavo East national park landscape is plain with short vegetation thereby making wildlife viewing easy and more enjoyable.
our game viewing will be spread to cover the greenery areas of Tsavo East where concentration of wildlife could be high. Later drive to your lodge for check-in and Lunch.
This will be followed by some moments of relaxation.
Your afternoon game drive is scheduled at 4pm. And at this time wild animals emerge from their hide-outs for grazing and hunting.
Possible wild animals to be seen include large population of red colored Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Cheetah, Hyena, Hippos, Giraffe, Zebra, Warthog and Many more. Native birds will also be seen during your game drives.
Overnight: Ashnil Aruba Lodge
Ashnil Aruba Lodge lies on the banks of Aruba Dam in the heart of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya, just a couple of hours from the coast of Mombasa. Accommodation is provided in Deluxe Twin Rooms, Deluxe Double Rooms and Deluxe Triple Rooms. In-room amenities include comfortable beds, private bathrooms, terraces and sunbeds. The open sitting restaurant located in the main building overlooks the dam at all angles and can sit a maximum of 150 guests. The restaurant serves set buffets featuring international, oriental and traditional African cuisine.
