Meeting Mountain gorillas in their natural habitat makes this 4-day Uganda adventure truly special. After arriving in Kampala, a quick flight takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the rare mountain gorillas and a variety of wildlife.
The next day, set out for an exciting trek through the forest, where an experienced ranger will guide you to a gorilla family, sharing insights along the way.Spend the final day taking in the beautiful landscapes of southwestern Uganda as you fly back to Entebbe, filled with memories of a unique wildlife experience.
Meet and greet at the airport by one of our representative after short briefing you will be transferred to your city hotel check in freshen up followed by relaxation dinner at the hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay Hilton Garden inn Kampala or Similar
Transferred to the domestic airport to fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (the flight is approximately 1.5 hours). Met on arrival and transferred to Buhoma Lodge to stay for 2 nights on a full board basis.
Bwindi National Park is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This fascinating mountain forest hosts chimpanzees and spectacular birds. There are 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon and other beautiful forest species. You shall relax this afternoon and be fit and ready for the gorilla trekking the next day!
Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Lodge.
This morning you will get up very early and for gorilla trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours, but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas.
Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Lodge.
After breakfast, you will drive to Kihihi Airstrip and fly back to Entebbe enjoying the beautiful aerial view of south western Uganda, the hills and thick vegetation as well as the farming practiced by the locals. Afterwards you will be transferred to the international airport to connect onto your international flights home.
